Little Great Things

Our daily life is coalescing more and more with technology, and that causes isolated human beings in many aspects. Little Great Things provides a system that includes technology to cause social interactions. The project aimed to design a modular, resizable system that can be adapted in various places. The electrical micro-mobility charging points that we don't see often in urban spaces are one of the key points of the project.

Choosing the car bumpers as a material to be recycled has a significant role in the design circle. It points out four pillars;
- Extending the usefulness of a material that is assumed to be garbage or discarded.
- Generating a new circle of useful life for the material and using it as an example for society. In this way, the concept involves people in and teaches them how discarded products end up today and those of yesterday.
- Integrating it into society through a product that connects socially and responds to a little-explored need.
- Connecting semantically with a coherent message through a company dedicated to mobility and transportation. Setting a strategic flag in the field of micro-mobility.

Little Great Things is a project that has circulation. On the other hand, the mobile application of LGT, QR codes, has an essential effect on creating a network. When someone goes there to have fun with the elements, the other can go for the necessity of electricity. Because of that, it is rich enough to become a “Let’s go there” place. It affects the located area in a positive way. The modules are designed to have surprising possibilities on each move. It creates a dynamism that is up to the user. This creative journey might make people wish to discover more.

Little Great Things is a project that has never been done before. We are giving you the opportunity to be the first, most memorable, and fun one by respecting nature, creating from history. And nature and history are the column values of life; let’s invest in a strong but humble one, Little Great Things.

Our planet is full of its capacity and if we don't interfere, it is going to collapse, because of us, and the things that we have done. Prevention is better than the cure. And in these times of health and environmental crisis, we are more healing or repairing than anything else. Therefore, to understand history and learn from it in pursuit of a better present and future. The briefs and concepts must respond to all the members of a circular consumption chain since this is the seed of everything that becomes.

At this juncture in time, it is crucial to learn how to use recycled materials and let this wheel turn. It is possible to join this circle by separating the trash, however since we are designers, we have more responsibilities on that. We can be the ones who show the results of using nature friendly or recycled materials to the society. That domino effect is what we need to save the planet.

As well as understanding that projection and design times are crucial since the decisions made throughout a design process have a direct or indirect impact on the quality of our daily lives. At this point, the abstract but objective jury of time brings the necessary security and reliability when presenting a project. That is why we are so glad to be the designers of Little Great Things, and we believe that our project is going to leave a mark on people’s minds and start the domino.
